Man Pleads Guilty in Connection to Fatal Truck Accident

An Illinois man pled guilty to three counts of aggravated driving under the influence and has been sentenced to 45 months in the Illinois Department of Corrections, of which he will have to serve at least 85 percent of that time. The truck accident occurred last fall when the victim was a passenger in her family’s pick-up truck which was travelling down I-90 and was crushed when it was struck by a semi. The truck driver had failed to brake and tested positive for marijuana in amounts that are shown to severely impair his judgment at the time of the accident. Truck Driver Killed While Fixing Truck

A truck driver was killed earlier this morning in the Chicago suburbs, while he was standing outside of the truck attempting to reattach his trailer to the cab of his truck. There were no running lights on the rear of the trailer, and there is a report stating that the truck driver was trying to put out flares, but this report is not confirmed. The driver of the car that hit the truck driver swerved to avoid the truck accident but was not able to avoid the accident. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the truck accident. Truck Driver Arrested for Driving Under the Influence

A truck driver was arrested after fleeing from a crash that he allegedly caused on the morning of July 26th in Chicago. This truck accident injured three people, which were taken to local hospitals and at this point none of them seem to have life-threatening injuries. When the police apprehended the truck driver, he was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, possession of a controlled substance and leaving the scene of an accident with injuries. Speeding is Cause of Many Truck Accidents

Excessive speeding by passenger car drivers leads to many truck accidents. Trucks’ blind spots are large and when cars are going fast and swerving in and out of traffic the chance of an accident is greatly increased. A recent truck accident on the 1-75 was due to speeding and swerving and left one person dead. Illinois Man Dies in Truck Accident

The driver of a passenger car was fatally injured when he crossed the median on I-90/94 and hit a semi-trailer truck that was heading in the opposite direction. The accident occurred early this morning and the truck driver was left uninjured. The car driver suffered serious head injuries and was trapped in this car following the truck accident and died shortly after the accident. Puppy Found Following Truck Accident

Puppy missing after truck accident has been found safe. A truck accident occurred on the morning of July 14th when a semi-truck collided with a minivan in which a family and their puppy were traveling. The puppy jumped through the window after the truck accident and was missing for a few days. The puppy was found about a mile from the scene of the truck accident and returned to the family. Fatal Truck Accident Kills One

A fatal truck accident occurred in which a sports utility vehicle entered the highway on the exit ramp, causing the driver to drive into oncoming traffic. The car struck the back of a truck and then the SUV went into the air and struck another semi-truck. The driver of the SUV was ejected from the car and was pronounced dead immediately. There is currently no information as to why the driver entered the highway going the wrong way and toxicology reports are still pending. Six Injured in Car-Truck Accident in Chicago

A car collided with a semi-truck earlier this morning in Chicago, injuring six people including three children. The car involved in the crash did not merge properly as it entered the highway and was struck by another car, which was then struck by the truck. A semi-truck carrying a full load of beer crashed on the highway, causing the truck to turn onto its side and the beer and diesel fuel to spill out the back of the truck. Illinois Biker Killed in Truck Accident

An Illinois man was killed after being hit by a pick-up truck early in the morning of July 16th. The bicycle accident occurred when the victim was riding his bike and fell off, and the truck driver hit him. After the accident the truck driver drove around the block but then returned to the scene and submitted to a breathalyzer test. The test results were not available, however, the truck driver was arrested for misdemeanor driving under the influence. Lawsuit Filed over Illinois Truck Accident

A lawsuit has been filed against two individuals and a trucking company in connection with a Granite City truck accident that injured two women. The suit alleges that the truck failed to stop and that was the cause of the truck accident. Major Truck Accident Destroys Overpass

A major truck accident occurred when a truck crashed and exploded on July 15th. The truck accident ignited a bridge that it was passing under when it caught on fire. At this point the police are not sure if something collided with the truck or what exactly caused the fiery accident. A Stockton truck accident killed one man on July 8. The victim was driving on US-20 when he lost control of his vehicle and entered the oncoming lane of traffic, causing his car to be struck by a tractor-trailer. Truck Accident Kills Illinois Man

A two vehicle accident killed an Illinois man early this morning in Knox County, IL. The truck accident involved a flatbed truck that crossed into the passing lane and into the path of a box truck. Chicago Truck Accident Clogged Tollway for Hours

A car rear-ended a semi-truck carrying 9,000 pounds of Chinese food, causing the food to spill out and block the southbound lanes of the Tri-State Tollway early in the morning of July 7th. On July 7th, a truck accident occurred when several boys that were riding their bikes thought they could pass a semi before it turned into a truck stop. Family Files Suit Following Death of Truck Driver

The family of a man that was killed in a truck accident last summer is suing the driver who they believe is responsible for the wrongful death of their family member. The truck accident occurred when the victim, who was driving a tractor trailer, drove off a bridge while attempting to avoid a car in which the driver has fallen asleep at the wheel. Suit Filed Following Fatal Illinois Truck Accident

A suit has been filed against a truck company and one of its employees following a truck accident that occurred on May 23rd in Illinois. The crash occurred when one pickup truck was driving north on Illinois Route 3 and another pickup truck that was puller a trailer for a rental company lost control of the trailer and collided with the original pickup truck. Two Truck Accidents on I-57

Two truck accidents occurred on the same stretch of highway within two days. The first truck accident occurred when the driver of a pick-up truck stopped short in order to avoid some construction.
