Girl Seriously Injured in Truck Accident near Chicago
A ten-year-old girl is being treated at the University of Chicago Medical Center after suffering serious injuries in a truck accident near Chicago. The girl was riding with her mother who lost control of the vehicle, causing it to hit a barrier. The vehicle then spun across traffic and became lodged under a tractor trailer truck. The truck drug the vehicle for a short time before colliding with another semi-truck. The girl was pinned in the car and suffered a broken femur and other internal injuries.
