Man Killed After Truck Collides with His SUV

Recently, a 26-year-old man was killed, and an 8-month-old baby was seriously injured after a tractor-trailer collided with their vehicle. Two other passengers in the SUV suffered critical personal injuries and the truck driver suffered minor injuries. According to Justice News Flash, the driver stopped his vehicle in the center lane of the busy interstate and turned on his flashers. He exited the car for a brief time, and the semi-truck slammed into the back of the SUV just as he was getting back in. The report did not indicate why he exited his car. 5 people Personally Injured in Chicago SUV Crash

Five people were taken to area hospitals with personal injuries after a three-vehicle crash on the Southwest Side of Chicago. The collision involved two sport-utility vehicles and a car. At least three of the victims were transported in critical conditions with personal injuries and two were in serious conditions. Details on the truck accident were not available. Spring Grove Man Charged in Fatal Illinois Truck Accident

A 30 year-old truck driver from Spring Grove was indicted on three counts of reckless DUI and one count of reckless homicide after turning himself in on April 28. The charges were for a fatal truck accident that occurred in Kane County in October 2008. The driver rear-ended a pick-up truck carrying a man, his wife and 3-year-old son, causing their vehicle to crash into a salt truck in front of them. The woman died at the scene of the truck accident. The man and his son were both injured in the accident. The Courier News reports that after the accident, the driver tested positive for marijuana.
