A 44-year-old motorcyclist died after his bike collided with a sport-utility vehicle in Orland Park, Illinois. The driver was pronounced dead after the truck accident. Beer Cans Found Near SUV Accident

Beer cans were found strewn around a fatal accident site in which a stolen sport-utility vehicle flipped and its driver was ejected in Chicago, Illinois. A Chevrolet SUV reported stolen was being driven by a man in his 20s southbound on South Shore Drive slammed into concrete pillars on the shoulder, went airborne and rolled over. A witness who saw the truck accident said that the SUV was attempting to overtake another vehicle when it lost control and slammed into the concrete pillars on the shoulder. During the truck accident the driver was ejected from the SUV and was partially decapitated. Beer cans were found near the scene, but it has not been confirmed as to whether the man driving was under the influence. There were two passengers, one of whom suffered personal injuries. Chicago Man Charged in Fatal Truck Accident

A Chicago area man was charged in a tractor-trailer accident when the cargo in the truck that he was driving struck an overpass and the cargo was knocked off and landed on a sport utility vehicle, killing the driver. This fatal accident occurred because the truck driver exceeded the height limit that was set for the overpass. The truck driver says that he did not know how high the container was or how fast he was going when the fatal accident occurred. The victim’s family has filed a lawsuit against the truck driver. Illinois Woman Killed in Milk Truck Accident

A fatal accident on June 1 left three family members dead after their SUV collided with a tanker truck carrying milk. The three victims of the trucking accident were a 93-year-old woman from Morris, IL, her son and daughter-in-law. The Chicago Tribune reports that the truck accident occurred when their SUV pulled in front of the moving truck after stopping at a stop sign. Couple Files Lawsuit In Illinois Truck Accident Case

A couple from Marissa, IL (St. Clair County) recently filed a complaint against a driver, a truck driver and trucking company for injuries that the husband sustained in an accident. The plaintiff was a passenger in the defendant driver’s SUV. According to the complaint, the negligent driver collided with the tractor trailer driven by the defendant truck driver. The plaintiff and his wife allege that both the SUV driver and truck driver failed to maintain proper control of their vehicles, failed to yield, and failed to break to avoid an accident. Man and Toddler Injured in Collision with Semi-Truck

A 57-year-old man and a toddler were both injured in an accident on April 14 when their Jeep SUV collided with a truck. According to police reports, the driver was traveling southbound when his vehicle crossed the center line and hit the tractor-trailer head on. Emergency workers extricated the man from the SUV and took him to a local hospital. The toddler was removed from the vehicle by his mother and also taken to a hospital with minor injuries. SUV and Truck Collide Near Bolingbrook

The Bolingbrook Sun has reported that a truck accident occurred in the early morning hours of April 9. According to the report, a semi-truck and a sports utility vehicle were both traveling in the eastbound lanes of I-55. The collision was near the Bolingbrook Drive exit of the expressway. Spring Blizzard Conditions Lead to Fatal Truck Accident

Two passengers in a Jeep were killed in a truck accident on April 4 after a semi-truck slammed into their Jeep. The truck then crashed into two other cars, leaving one person with minor injuries. According to police, most of the cars on the road were traveling slowly because of white-out conditions. However, the truck was traveling at 55 mph and slammed into the Jeep, causing it to go off the road and catch fire. The truck then collided with the other two vehicles. Teen Indicted on Charges of Manslaughter After Killing Friend in Truck Crash

The driver in a fatal truck accident that claimed the life of a high school student in July has been indicted on charges of manslaughter. The 17-year-old driver lost control of his Toyota Tacoma truck, causing it to flip after going airborne. One of the passengers in the truck, another 17-year-old high school student, was killed immediately. Two other minors were hospitalized after the truck crash. The driver faces 3 to 12 years in prison. It is currently unknown whether the family of the teen killed in the crash has filed a wrongful death lawsuit in civil courts. Chicago-area man dies in truck accident

A 42-year-old man was killed recently in a truck accident on the Borman Expressway near the Illinois-Indiana border. The man was killed when his GMC truck collided with a semi-tractor. A spokesperson for the Lake County coroner’s office said that the man was pronounced dead at St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago. SUV Strikes School Bus

An SUV struck a school bus in the Chicago suburb of Orland Park. At this time no serious personal injuries have been reported. The crash occurred at the intersection of 179th Street and Southwest Highway. Two fire trucks and three ambulances responded to the truck accident. The condition of the SUV driver, who reportedly drove into the side of the school bus, is unknown. The paramedics attended to students who were on the bus, who suffered non-life threatening personal injuries. The age range of the students who sustained the personal injuries is not yet known.
