Chicago Truck Accident Closes Highway for Several Hours

A Chicago truck accident on the Dan Ryan Expressway earlier this morning shut down the northbound local lanes, after a truck jack-knifed and spilled fuel on the roadway. The truck accident occurred when the truck driver lost control on the rain covered highway and then crashed. The reason that the lanes had to be closed following the truck accident was because of the diesel fuel spill and the danger that created. The lanes have since been reopened to all traffic.
