Truck Study Shows High Numbers of Violations

A recent study shows that many motor carrier companies, that in total represent over 200,000 trucks in the United States, are currently violating safety laws in their operation which can lead to truck accidents. Some of the violations that have been found on trucks that are currently in operation are things such as defective brakes, bad tires, exceedingly heavy load and drivers with inadequate training or even dependency problems. All of the these violations are likely to be the cause of many truck accidents and are easily preventable.
