Chicago accident attorneys remind drivers that even though getting pulled over without proper documentation can result in citations and serious fines, it is much better than trying to flee from the police officer. If you are pulled over and lack a current driver’s license or current automobile insurance, remember that no good will come of trying to get away and that you will face much more serious consequences if you attempt to disobey a police officer. Additionally, make sure to never drive anywhere without a current license and valid insurance. Even if you think it will be okay to drive just short distance without a license or without insurance, please never do because you can face serious fines and citations.
