The negligence of a truck driver led to a truck accident involving a semi and a school bus carrying students, reports Oregon Live News.
According to published reports, the trucking accident stuck around 7:40 am on Tuesday, as the bus was bringing students to the school in the morning. The southbound bus had stopped on Wapato School Road to pick up several children. The bus’s warning lights were engaged at the time. The semi-truck was headed in the opposite direction on the road. After rounding a curve the truck driver saw the stopped school bus, and attempted to slow his truck.
