Interstate 57 in Franklin County, IL was closed for hours after a tractor trailer truck carrying hazardous materials wrecked on Sunday. The driver of the semi-truck felt tired and consequently lost control of the truck, causing it to capsize into the highway’s median. Because the truck was transporting hazardous materials, hazmat teams as well as local fire companies were called in to help clean up the accident. The highway was closed for five hours.
