Man and Toddler Injured in Collision with Semi-Truck

A 57-year-old man and a toddler were both injured in an accident on April 14 when their Jeep SUV collided with a truck. According to police reports, the driver was traveling southbound when his vehicle crossed the center line and hit the tractor-trailer head on. Emergency workers extricated the man from the SUV and took him to a local hospital. The toddler was removed from the vehicle by his mother and also taken to a hospital with minor injuries. The truck driver suffered no serious injuries in the accident. The report did not elaborate on what may have caused the driver to drift into the path of the truck.
