Man Pleads Guilty in Connection to Fatal Truck Accident

An Illinois man pled guilty to three counts of aggravated driving under the influence and has been sentenced to 45 months in the Illinois Department of Corrections, of which he will have to serve at least 85 percent of that time. The truck accident occurred last fall when the victim was a passenger in her family’s pick-up truck which was travelling down I-90 and was crushed when it was struck by a semi. The truck driver had failed to brake and tested positive for marijuana in amounts that are shown to severely impair his judgment at the time of the accident. Chicago truck accident lawyers Levin & Perconti represent the family of the victim in the civil case against the driver. For more information on this fatal truck accident, click here.
