A settlement has been reached in connection with a 2007 truck accident in which a teenage woman from Lawrence Park Township was left permanently disabled with a moderate brain injury. According to Go Erie, the truck accident occurred when a minivan collided with a tractor-trailer in Harborcreek Township at Nagle Road and Iroquois Avenue. The victim was a passenger in the van at the time of the truck accident and was not wearing a seatbelt. The settlement involved both driver’s insurance companies agreeing to pay a total of $450,000 with neither party admitting any wrongdoing.
