Settlement Reached in Truck Accident Case

A settlement has been reached in a lawsuit relating to a truck accident in which a woman was killed. The wrongful death lawsuit is a result of a 2008 incident in which equipment fell off of a truck, killing a woman that was driving behind the truck when it crushed her car. The complaint stated that the load was not properly secured and the driver was not legally qualified to operate the truck at the time of the truck accident.
