St. Clair Trucking Accident Leads to Lawsuit

A trucking accident lawsuit was filed in connection with a trucking accident that occurred in 2006 in which a truck struck a motorcyclist, killing the motorcycle driver. According to The St. Clair Record, the guardian of the victim’s two young children have filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the trucking company and the driver of the truck that caused the fatal accident. According to the complaint, the St. Clair County trucking accident occurred on Illinois State Route 127 when the truck was exiting a ramp and struck the motorcyclist, and claims that the driver failed to keep a proper lookout for other vehicles, did not keep his truck under control and failed to yield the right of way.
