Teen Indicted on Charges of Manslaughter After Killing Friend in Truck Crash

The driver in a fatal truck accident that claimed the life of a high school student in July has been indicted on charges of manslaughter. The 17-year-old driver lost control of his Toyota Tacoma truck, causing it to flip after going airborne. One of the passengers in the truck, another 17-year-old high school student, was killed immediately. Two other minors were hospitalized after the truck crash. The driver faces 3 to 12 years in prison. It is currently unknown whether the family of the teen killed in the crash has filed a wrongful death lawsuit in civil courts.
