Truck Driver Killed While Fixing Truck

A truck driver was killed earlier this morning in the Chicago suburbs, while he was standing outside of the truck attempting to reattach his trailer to the cab of his truck. There were no running lights on the rear of the trailer, and there is a report stating that the truck driver was trying to put out flares, but this report is not confirmed. The driver of the car that hit the truck driver swerved to avoid the truck accident but was not able to avoid the accident. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the truck accident.
