Trucking Accident Fire Shuts Down Part of Highway

A trucking accident this morning left two lanes of the Borman Expressway (I-80/I-94) closed down. The truck caught on fire and traffic on the highway was backed up as a result. According to Chicago Breaking News, the fire was extinguished within a half an hour but the lanes remained closed as officials investigating the cause of the fire and the lanes were still shut down seven hours after the trucking accident occurred. Luckily, no injuries occurred as a result of this fiery truck accident.
