Trucking Accident Lawsuit Settles for Slightly Under $2 Million Dollars

A trucking accident lawsuit was concluded and a man that was involved in a trucking accident in 2006 with a dump truck was awarded close to $2 million dollars. The Plaintiff is this lawsuit was riding his motorcycle when he crashed into a dump truck. The Plaintiff suffered was severely injured with many fractured bones and other serious injuries and according to her attorneys, Plaintiff will suffer lifetime disabilities. The car accident attorney for the truck driver allege that the motorcycle driver failed to stop at a stop sign and therefore the accident was his fault. The jury found that the Plaintiff was 20% contributorily negligent in the accident and that the Defendants were 80% responsible for the accident.
