Trucking Accident May Have been Caused by Suicide Attempt

An Anderson woman was injured on November 16th when she was struck by a tractor trailer heading down I-69. According to The Herald Bulletin, witnesses to the trucking accident claim that they had been trying to calm the woman down but that she then ran in front of the truck in what is believed to have been a suicide attempt. The truck driver had slowed down because he was trying to merge into a different lane. The woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a broken pelvis, leg and arm and a cut to the forehead.
