Young Boy Killed in Trucking Accident

A trucking accident resulted in the death of one young boy and injured his two siblings and their parents. According to Savannah Now, the fatal accident occurred on December 27th when the family’s van was struck from behind by a tractor-trailer carrying paper products that was going very fast. The victim’s car had just slowed down due to holiday traffic congestion and the truck had not responded to the slowing speed and when it hit the car, the car was pushed off the roadway. While the truck driver is suspected of driving too closely, at this time no citations have been issued and no charges have been filed at this point.
